Praise be to Christ through His blood that redeemed us to God. Once Adam and Eve sinned, God provided a blood sacrifice, killing a lamb skin to make clothes for Adam and Eve This first act of sacrifice symbolized a future in which blood was shed so that mankind might be clothed with salvation. For this reason we praise God by the blood of Jesus (theologian Valdemir Mota de Menezes, the Scribe)
